DNRefresh: Dry Needling - Refresher / Competency Review

This course will allow you to sharpen your needling skills, confirm competency and gain clinical decision making skills. This 8 hour course is designed for anyone who has successfully completed either a level 1 or level 2 needling course. It will be geared toward basic and advanced needling techniques (based on which course you completed last), use of DC current stimulator as well as additional manual therapy, pain science, corrective exercise, and taping techniques. A mix of paper case studies as well as live cases will be presented in full, allowing for a review of anatomy origin, insertion, safe needle handling, proper needling techniques, patient communication and rational from a manual therapy perspective. This course is not an introductory course. You must have successfully completed a formal dry needling course prior to taking this course. You may be asked to provide a certificate of completion from the last needling course that you took. It is your responsibility to know your state's scope of practice regarding Dry Needling.
