Adam Risinger

Adam is a 1997 graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s program of Physical Therapy.  Since his graduation, he has gone on to receive his certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy from the McKenzie Institute International and has become board certified in orthopedics by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.

He has practiced orthopedic and sports physical therapy in a variety of outpatient settings, with particular emphasis on manual therapy and exercise interventions for spine and extremity conditions. Aside from his continuing role in patient care, Adam has served as a clinic director, regional director, and multi-region director in the outpatient setting.

Adam has been a frequent guest lecturer for the Program of Physical Therapy at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and has served as a PT educator and consultant for the Rheumatology Fellowship Program of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine.  He has also served as a consultant to multiple industries in the area of workplace ergonomics and injury prevention.  He currently works for Results Physiotherapy in Memphis, TN, where he serves as Director of Clinical Operations.
