Cindy Au-Yeung graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1991 with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and then went on to complete her physical therapy degree at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1996. She completed her acupuncture certification with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada in 2006. In 2010 she received her Diploma of Manipulative Physical Therapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapy.

Cindy has worked in private practice orthopaedic physical therapy for 16 years. She has worked with all age groups from children to senior citizens and weekend warriors and amateur athletes to professional athletes. She utilizes a combination of manual therapy, functional exercise, core stability work, taping and acupuncture to help her clients return to their functional activities/sports. She has assisted on and taught courses in Canada and is available for mentorship to physiotherapists working on their manual therapy courses. Cindy also has a special interest in spinal dysfunction and motor control retraining with sports such as golf, tennis and volleyball.
