Jennifer DeYoung

Jennifer DeYoung is the Director of Upstream Rehab Institute’s Hand Therapy Fellowship and led its development beginning in 2016. She received her Masters of Occupational Therapy degree from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California, and has been a Certified Hand Therapist since 2002. Jennifer is a Certified AOTA Fieldwork Educator, an active member of the ASHT, AOTA, and has served as a board member of the Georgia Hand and Upper Extremity Special Interest Group (GHUESIG). She joined BenchMark Rehab Partners in 2012 and continues her practice at the Canton, GA clinic. Jennifer served as BenchMark Rehab Partner’s Georgia Hand Therapy Coordinator from 2014-2015. Her additional experience includes lecturing nationally for DeRoyal’s Orthotic Fitter course, earning a certification as a Kinesio Taping Practitioner, performing both corporate ergonomics and functional capacity evaluations, and working as a clinical specialist account manager for a DME company. Jennifer is primary faculty for URI’s The Wrist Complex: Evidence-Based Concepts in Wrist Rehabilitation course, and led development of the Hand Therapy Bootcamp and Introduction to Orthoses courses.
